Somewhere Someimes......!!

Sometimes in life we feel so blue,
but some1 somewhere is not as happy as u,
somewhere far at the border when a soldier sleeps,
missing his loved ones he silently weeps...

Somewhere a mother painfully sighs,
because her new born baby did not open her eyes,
somewhere a poor dad silently cries,
when he sees his son begging for a bowl of rice.
Somewhere in an orphanage a little gal is sad,
when she misses her mom and dad.

At times a reason to smile, u may not have any,
say to yourself that you are happy than many..

Because life is beatiful and its not always blue,
need someone somewhere is not as happy as you...

Start Where You Stand.....

Start where you stand and never mind the past,
The past won't help you in beginning new,
If you have left it all behind at last
Why, that's enough, you're done with it, you're through;
This is another chapter in the book,
This is another race that you have planned,
Don't give the vanished days a backward look,
Start where you stand.

The world won't care about your old defeats
If you can start anew and win success;
The future is your time, and time is fleet
And there is much of work and strain and stress;
Forget the buried woes and dead despairs,
Here is a brand-new trial right at hand,
The future is for him who does and dares,
Start where you stand.

PROMISE URSELF

Promise yourself to be so strong that....
nothing can disturb your peace of mind.

To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel like there is something in them.

To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and expect only the best.

To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget mistakes of the past and press on the greater achievements of the future.

To wear a cheerful countenance at all times n give every person u meet a smile.
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that....
you have no time to criticize others.

To be too large for worry, too noble for anger,
and too strong for fear, and to happy to permit the presence of trouble.

Just promise yourself.

WHAT MONEY CANT BUY

His name was Fleming, and he was a poor Scottish farmer. One day, while trying to eke out a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. He dropped his tools and ran to the bog. There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself. Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow
and terrifying death.
The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings. An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy Farmer Fleming had saved.
"I want to repay you," said the nobleman. "You saved my son's life."
"No, I can't accept payment for what I did," the Scottish farmer replied, waving off the offer. At that moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel.
"Is that your son?" the nobleman asked. "Yes," the farmer replied proudly.
"I'll make you a deal. Let me take him and give him a good education.
If the lad is anything like his father, he'll grow to a man you can be proud of."
And that he did. In time, Farmer Fleming's son graduated from St. Mary's Hospital Medical School in London, and went on to become known throughout the world as the noted Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of Penicillin.
Years afterward, the nobleman's son was stricken with pneumonia.
What saved him? Penicillin.
The name of the nobleman? Lord Randolph Churchill.
His son's name? Sir Winston Churchill.

Someone once said what goes around comes around.

BE WHAT U ARE, NOT WHAT OTHERS WANT U TO BE

A person can make you feel high,
A person can make you feel low.
But only you can decide,
Which way you want to go.

A person can hurt you mentally,
A person can hurt you physically.
But only you can place,
A limit on your abilities.

A person can cause drama,
A person can cause a situation.
But only you can create,
Your own reputation.

A person can make you laugh,
A person can make you cry.
But only you can make,
Decisions for your life.

I guess what I'm trying to say,
That when you're living day to day.
Don't live by what people do,
But live by what you know is true.

MY WRITE UP PUBLISHED IN DAINIK BHASKAR ON VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION DAY

Khoon daan se bada tohfa koi nai maana jata kyu ki ye tohfa anmol hota hai. Zarurat ki bat kare to har 3 second me ek bar kisi na kisi ko blood chadane ki zarurat hoti hai. World Health Organization ne 1997 me target rakha tha ki zarurat padne par har kisi ko blood bina koi mol diye hue milna chahiye. Par Saal 2006 tak 124 me se sirf 49 desh ye target poora kar paye. 3. 18 saal se 60 saal tak aur 45 kg se jyada wajan ke insaan har 56 days baad blood donate kar sakte hai.

5. Donor ko blood donate karne se AIDS ya koi bhi aur bimaari nai ho sakti.
6. O- type blood vale log universal donors hote hai jinka blood kisi bhi blood group vale insaan ko diya ja saakta hai. Par India me sirf 38% logo ka hi ye blood group hota hai. chahe hamare India ki aadhi se jyada population blood donate karne ke liye medically fit hai, par donate karne vale sirf 1000 me 4 log hi aage ate hai.

DO YOU KNOW YOUR EMPLOYEES

On walking into the factory, the Managing Director of the Company noticed a young guy leaning against the wall, doing nothing.

He approached the young man and calmly said to him, "How much do you earn?"

The young man was quite amazed that he was asked such A personal question, he replied, none the less, "I earn $ 2000.00 a month, Sir. Why?"

Without answering, the MD took out his wallet and removed $6000.00 cash and gave it to the young man and said, "Around here I pay people for working, not for standing around looking pretty!

Here is your 3 months salary, now GET OUT and don't come back".

The young man turned around and was quickly out of sight.

Noticing a few onlookers, the MD said in a very upset manner, "And that applies to everybody in this company".

He approached one of the onlookers and asked him, "Who's the young man I just fired?"

To which an amazing reply came - "He was the pizza delivery guy , Sir!"

SOME INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT CREDIT CARDS

1. Ever notice all your credit cards are of uniform shape and size? Their dimensions are governed by the ISO 7810 standard, an international standard for identification cards.

2. The expiration date on the card is “fake.” You can still use the card after its expiration date because the card number on your replacement will be the same.

3.Credit card numbers conform to the Luhn algorithm, which is just a simple checksum test on the number. What you do is start from the right and double each second digit (1111 becomes 2121), then add them all together, and you should end with a number evenly divisible by ten. If it doesn’t, it’s not a valid credit card number.

4. The first digit of the number is the Major Industry Identifier. 1/2 are for airlines, 3 is for travel/entertainment, 4/5 for banking and financial, 6 for merchandizing and financial, 7 for petroleum, 8 for telecommunications. 0 and 9 are for other assignments but you’ll likely never see them. If you look at an American Express card, you’ll see it starts with a 3, a throwback to their travel/entertainment roots.

5.The first six digits will correspond to the issuer, including the major industry identifier. 34xxxx/37xxxx are for American Express, 4xxxxx is for Visa, 51-55xxxx is for MasterCard, and 6011xx is for Discover.
The rest of the digits (except the last one, which is a checksum digit) is your account number.

6. Minors, those under the age of 18, are not obligated to pay back any charges to their credit cards (unless a parent co-signs, but then its the parent who is on the hook) because they are not allowed to enter into a binding contract.

THANK YOU SO MUCH

My Dear Students,

I wish to thank you all from the deepest corner of my heart for the honor given to your teacher on teacher's day. I pray to god to give you all success in life and may you touch the skies in your life.

Harpreet.
